Ken Dodd

Meeting and working with Ken was a true pleasure. @ 84 years old he is still touring and playing to packed audiences. He is renown for running for hours (not in the gym) and his shows often end after midnight. Ken was very generous with his
time not just towards me but with everyone I saw him interact with from front of house staff to autograph hunters

After my shoot I stayed to watch the "last of the great music hall acts" in action.

There was a wonderful moment early in the show when Doddy asked a women in the front row of the audience how he was doing? She said Frankly she was dissappointed, the tension in the room was palpable , it felt uncomfortable and embarrassing, after a moment Doddy asked her "Why were you dissappointed?"

she replied

"I thought you would be taller"
